Frances Payne Adler

Poet Frances Payne Adler is the author of five books, Making of a MatriotRaising The Tents, and three collaborative poetry-photography books and exhibitions, with photographer Kira Carrillo Corser, that have shown in galleries and state capitol buildings across the country. She also co-edited Fire and Ink: An Anthology of Social Action Writing, with Diana Garcia and Debra Busman. Adler's current work-in-progress is Dare I Call You Cousin, poetry & visuals about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, in collaboration with Israeli artists, photographer Michal Fattal and videographer Yossi Yacov. Adler is Professor Emerita of Creative Writing and Founder of California State University Monterey Bay's Creative Writing and Social Action Program.
